Becky teaches all of her yoga classes from a foundation of truthfulness, love and respect for ourselves, our bodies and others. She encourages curiosity about the body and exploration of mindfulness, guiding yoga students through poses and breath practices that encourage health and wellbeing for life off the yoga mat.
A class with Becky will typically include a breathing and/or grounding practice for the first few minutes. After warming our muscles with dynamic but slow movements and poses while “on the floor,” we’ll work our way up for some standing poses that will transition in a purposeful way from one to the next. This will often look and feel like a “slow flow” of movements. Props and pauses are always encouraged for alignment, stability, steadiness and ease.
